- Profile data: height, weight, fitness goals, experience level, injuries
- Workout data: exercise logs, sets, reps, weights
- Usage data: app interactions, AI chat history
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide personalized AI workout recommendations
- Track your fitness progress over time
- Improve our AI coaching models (anonymized data only)
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored on secure PostgreSQL servers hosted on AWS in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. Workout data is also cached locally on your device for offline access.
4. Data Retention
- Account and profile data — retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Workout logs — retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- AI chat history — retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Custom exercise images — deleted from cloud storage within 30 days of the exercise being removed.
- Analytics events — retained in aggregated, anonymized form for up to 24 months; raw event data deleted after 90 days.
To request early deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected] or use the account deletion option in Settings.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research purposes. We use Google Gemini AI to generate workout plans — your profile and workout data is sent to Google's API for this purpose and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
6. Your Rights
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time through the Settings screen in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
7. Cookies & Tracking
The mobile app does not use cookies. We collect minimal analytics events (e.g. screen views, feature usage) to improve the app experience. No advertising identifiers are collected.
8. Children's Privacy
Gomar is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
